Kim Yo Jong, first vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, issued a statement on 13 June 2020 stating that North Korea will take a next action on South Korea.

I express my full sympathy to the statement issued yesterday by the director of our United Front Department.

If there is the ability and courage to do now what cannot be done within two years, why are the north-south relations still in this state?

We shall not lean our ears to the habitual words of those who belatedly make a noise at every turn and never believe their stereotyped words and actions that starts from formality, and we shall absolutely never pardon the sins of the traitors and trash.

Now, further growing day by day is the unanimous voice of all our people demanding to see the end with the trash who dared to provoke the absolute authority of the Comrade Chairman, the symbol of our homeland and the representative of our great dignity, and shoved in filth in the sacred area of our side and with those who connived with such foolish act even if the world breaks down.

The judgment that we should completely make the traitors and trash pay for the crimes they committed and the plans for retribution that have been set up following this have been firmly entrenched not as a part of the work of the sector in charge against the enemy but as the public opinion in our interior.

We should painfully make it known to them of what they did and what things that absolutely shall not be hurt did they mistakenly hurt.

Instead of releasing such statement that those who have dull hearing can miscalculate by any chance as “for the purpose of threatening” or that can be depended on in criticizing and talking nonsense of our intention, we should retaliate now with continuous actions.

It is time to certainly break with the south Koreans.

We shall soon take the next phase of action.

By exercising my authority granted by the Comrade Chairman, the Party and the state, I instructed the department leading the work against the enemy to carry out the next phase of action.

Soon, the miserable sight of the useless north-south joint liaison office collapsed without shape shall be seen.

If I suggest on this opportunity of our next plan that the south Korean authorities will wonder about, the right to carry out the next action against the enemy shall be handed to the General Staff of our army.

I believe that our army shall also determine and carry out something that will somehow cool-off the anger of the people.

Trash should be thrown into the rubbish bin.
